Head of the “Right of the Child” Boris Altshuler was invited by President of Russia to take part in the Ceremonial Reception on the occasion of the Day of National Unity 4 November 2005. There were 35 tables for guests in Georgievskyi Hall of the Big Kremlin Palace. The Reception was remarkable not only because of luxury of recently restored halls of the Big Kremlin Palace and because of good music (Tchaikovskyi, Glinka… the music of Hymn of Former Soviet Union did not sound), but with its non-formal character favoring the unconstrained intercourse. In particular Boris Altshuler handed to President the Letter written the same morning and “Alternative Report - 2005” of the Coalition of Russian NGOs to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
